Due to fluctuations in fuel prices DPD in Russia applies index-based fuel surcharges.
Flexible fuel surcharges apply to DPD 10:00, DPD 13:00, DPD BIZPAK and DPD ECONOMY services, аs well as to DPD AVIA EXPRESS and DPD CLASSIC services (both domestic and international).
This means that we adjust the surcharges in line with fluctuations in fuel prices.
The fuel surcharge for DPD 10:00, DPD 13:00, DPD BIZPAK and DPD ECONOMY is based on the average consumer price for one litre of diesel fuel for the Russian Federation, published by the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation.
The fuel surcharge for DPD AVIA EXPRESS and DPD CLASSIC services (both domestic and international) is based on Rotterdam Jet Fuel Prices (Rotterdam ARA) reported by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Effective July 1, 2010, fuel surcharge for DPD 10:00, DPD 13:00, DPD BIZPAK and DPD ECONOMY services amounts to 0.5% of transportation tariff, for DPD AVIA EXPRESS and DPD CLASSIC services (both domestic and international) the fuel surcharge amount is 6.5% of transportation tariff.

As of August 1, fuel surcharge for DPD 10:00, DPD 13:00, DPD BIZPAK and DPD ECONOMY services amounts to 0.5% of transportation tariff, for DPD AVIA EXPRESS and DPD CLASSIC services (both domestic and international) the fuel surcharge amount is 7.0% of transportation tariff.
