DPD in Russia takes its commitment to sustainable development very seriously. As a company in the transport and logistics industry we respect our obligations towards society.

Since 2005 DPD in Russia supports the Social Fund ‘Illustrated Books for Small Blind Children’. The Fund was established in 1994 to facilitate implementation of ‘Book as a Gift’ Program which is part of the UN and UNESCO World Decade for Culture Development Project. The Fund publishes and distributes free of charge special illustrated embossed books for children with visual disabilities. The work of the Fund is supported via donations of private and corporate sponsors.

DPD in Russia was awarded with the gold medal of the ‘Books as a Gift’ Program Philanthropist for significant contribution to the Fund’s charity activities. The partnership with Fund regularly is evolving.
